  • Do dress lightly. Or preferably not at all whenever possible. The increase in temperature and humidity can cause your clothes to cling to your body. If you must wear something try a bathing suit or loose shorts and very thin T-shirt.
  • Do have a drink. Water is your best choice to keep hydrated. If you prefer not to drink water a sports drink will suffice. Hydration is a key sauna safety tip!
  • Don’t drink caffeinated beverages as this can lead to dehydration. Also on the list of drinks to avoid are sugary fruit drinks sodas and alcoholic beverages.
